Nothing short of a miracle!
About 4 months ago, I was diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis/impingement syndrome ("frozen shoulder") and I could hardly
move my right arm. I was having a hard time sleeping at night because of the pain, and my surgeon suggested that I should start
physical therapy. My prognosis, without surgery was of a very slow recovery, with a time frame of about 2 years. After 2 months of
intensive therapy I was sent for an MRI and it became clear that I had a partial rotator cuff tear. Surgery aside, I decided to
continue physical therapy, which by then had helped me a little. After three cortisone shots later, my doctor suggested me to try
acupuncture to speed up the recovery process. I had never had acupuncture before in my life, so I did not know what to expect. A
friend referred me to Tamie and when I called her describing my ailment, Tamie sounded very excited, and I later found out that
she had also suffered from frozen shoulder in the past. During my first visit, she evaluated my range of motion, then had me lay
down on the bed and applied her magic needles in my legs, arms, neck and shoulder. 45 minutes in the session she came back
and asked me to sit up and try the same movements again. I went from 90 degrees to 180 degrees of rotation - I could hardly
believe my eyes! The improvement in just one session was unbelievable - beyond my wildest expectations. I immediately made a
second appointment for the following week. Back home, my skeptical husband was waiting for my return, and when he asked me
how the session went, I said nothing, just raised my arm, extending it fully over my head. I think that simple demonstration turned
him instantly into a believer in acupuncture. I saw the biggest smile on his face ever. Would I recommend Tamie to family and
friends? You bet! I have already done so! Thank you, Tamie - thanks to you I now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Life Changing !
I suffered from frequent migraines for 14 years. I went to several top specialists who each prescribed one new ‘miracle drug’

I have had severe tendonitis in my elbows for two years, and a great deal of resulting muscle pain and inflammation in my
forearms. When I first went to see Tamie, the pain was so debilitating I could not use a pen, drive a car, type or hold a shampoo
bottle without pain. Although I had received treatment from several other healthcare professionals, no one had related the injury
to the weakness and tightness in my shoulders, neck, back and biceps. They treated my pain locally, and the pain and
inflammation kept returning. When I think of the care Tamie took in treating me I am absolutely overcome with thankfulness.
Each treatment session was unique, thoughtful, careful and unrushed. She diligently researched the various muscle groups
secondarily responsible for the pain in my arms. She sent me home with herbs for my shoulders and for general muscle
trauma. She used massage, the application of heat and various topical ointments in addition to acupuncture and herbal
remedies. And day-to-day, week-to-week, she always adjusted her treatments in response to my progress or retrogression.
For the first time in my adult life, I feel muscles in my neck, shoulders, head, face and back loosening deeply, freeing up my arms,
my jaw, my chest. I feel movement in muscles I've never felt move. I no longer feel as chronically anxious and tired as I've been
long accustomed to feeling. I can sit more comfortably. Breathe more comfortably. Hold my head up more comfortably. And of
course, type and drive more comfortably.
My whole body is healing. Exercising weakened and damaged muscles and keeping the inflammation in my tendons down are
the next steps and within my power. But to speak about the treatment I received from Tamie in terms of my arms alone is less
than what it deserves, for I consider it to be so much more far-reaching.

I HAVE MY LIFE BACK
Shortly after the birth of my third child I began experiencing left sided migraines. Over the course of five years the migraines
gained in intensity and duration lasting up to three days. I would lie down for hours at a time taking narcotics and placing ice
packs on my head hoping the migraine would pass. I was literally punching myself in the head to feel a different kind of pain. I
would lose significant amounts of sleep during these periods and typically I entered a migraine zone twice a month losing
precious time with my children and husband. I missed so many family/friend events due to migraines and feeling ill. Tamie has
changed everything for me. I was introduced to Tamie by a friend. I am a nurse by profession and was disappointed with
treatment plans in the traditional medical community. Drugs seemed to be my only option. I was open to anything that would take
the pain away. After two months of acupuncture therapy there was a noticeable difference in the intensity and duration of my
headaches. My husband also noticed a lifted spirit and overall wellness. After four months, I can report that I am no longer

God's Gift
Several months ago, I had severe lower back pain. I was completely confined to bed and the pain was excruciating. MRI report
revealed disc problems and arthritis as well. Doctors wanted to perform an operation which was very risky at best. It was a divine
gift that we got led to Tamie. As I was unable to stand or walk, she came for house visits and within 2 weeks I was able to stand,
walk, ride a car and take a flight to west coast ! Surgery was avoided but I did take cortisone injections to be on the safe side
because of my travel needs. I believe Tamie to be an excellent instrument of the Divine. Without her loving care, professional
ability and vast knowledge about our body and its healing powers I may have been crippled for life!!!

I had a car accident one rainy night. I did not have any pain at the time of the accident, but two days later, I suddenly felt as if the
ceiling was spinning. I was very scared, and my blood pressure went up to 150/110. I also started to have chest pain, and I ended
up in the emergency room. After a few long hours, the doctor gave me one medication, told me that it might take four months to
feel better, and advised me not to move fast. After taking the medication, I felt better temporarily, but the spinning spell came back
two hours later. The next day, I went to see my primary care physician. He prescribed the exact same medication and told me the
same thing the emergency doctor had told me. I could not wait four months to get better, especially since the medication was only
working for two hours at a time. I went to see a chiropractor the next day. I visited him for five days straight, but again the dizzy spell
came back. He told me I'd need to see him for two months. At that point, my wife suggested that I see her acupuncturist, Tamie.
After the very first treatment, I felt so good. Tamie asked me to get up and down from the bed and move around to see whether
vertigo would come back or not. It did not come back. It did not come back two hours later. I received two more once a week
treatments for minor headache on the back of my head due to the accident. And now I feel 100% back to normal: no dizziness, no
headache, no high blood pressure, no chest pain -- all without taking any medications.

I began seeing Tamie in October 2009 after surgery to remove scar tissue near my fallopian tube. I had painful PMS the next
month, a sinus infection, and then began having severe insomnia. It was if a switch had been turned on in my body and stayed
on. I was not able to sleep at all. I tried every strategy possible to make myself physically and mentally tired but to no avail. I tried
several prescription medications but they made me feel awful the next day. Tamie was so attentive in treating my severe
insomnia, providing me with herbs and seeing me twice a week. She would email me between treatments to see how I was
doing. Tamie was so thoughtful and empathetic through this difficult time.
I am now happy to report that Tamie resolved all the issues and I’m back to feeling like my healthy self. Tamie went above and

Originally, I went to see Tamie because of a sudden outbreak of hives on my thigh. After Tamie treated me for the hives and they
disappeared (as if they had never been there), I mentioned to her that I was having difficulty conceiving a baby. Tamie then started
to treat me for infertility once a week. She explained, based on Oriental Medicine, why I was not getting pregnant. For example, I
learned that my body temperature is lower than normal, and that the coldness of my fingers and toes is part of the same issue.
Tamie helped me create my BBT chart, and when it showed that the time was perfect, I became pregnant. I delivered a healthy

Just over two years ago, my (then) 15 year old daughter, Rebecca, woke up sick: bad headache, fever, lack of energy. We thought
it was the flu, but two weeks later, with no let-up of the symptoms, then our doctors visits began. Four months and many tests
later, we were given a diagnosis of "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". We started looking for ways to work with this disease, and
were fortunate to have a friend recommended Tamie. My daughter was initially reluctant to try acupuncture, as in "Nobody is going
to stick a needle in me !" But Tamie skillfully and patiently explained the process, and Rebecca agreed to give it a try. Right from
the beginning, Tamie took the time to understand not only her symptoms, but who she was as a person. Rebecca went from total
exhaustion, attending school on a very limited basis, with no extra curricular activities to a full time school schedule. She was
even able to act in the school play this fall ! Rebecca is feeling so much better, and I truly believe that Tamie'sgentle and skillful

I've been putting off writing this letter for a long time, because I've been afraid that I would not be able to adequately express the

Infertility: Shortly after I turned 34, my husband and I decided to start a family. Within a few months, I was delighted to see a
positive pregnancy test, and assumed I was one of the “lucky” women who gets pregnant quickly and has an easy pregnancy.
Unfortunately, 12 weeks into the pregnancy I miscarried. After nearly a year of unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant again, I found
myself depressed and losing hope. We made an appointment to see a fertility doctor, and days before our first appointment, I
was thrilled to get my second positive pregnancy test! However, at only 6 weeks, we learned the pregnancy wasn’t viable. After
months of tests and visits to the fertility clinic, I was eventually diagnosed with Poor Ovarian Reserve. While we were encouraged
to keep trying naturally, we were told that our best chance of getting pregnant was through an egg donor. I was just short of my
36th birthday and I was completely devastated by the news. I cried for days as my husband and I considered our options and tried
to make sense of the diagnosis. The next week, I called Tamie. I had never tried acupuncture, but I had heard that many women
with infertility obstacles had found hope in the treatments. After just two visits with Tamie, I was pregnant again. I continue to see
Tamie every week (sometimes twice a week!) and we are now 28 weeks along with a very healthy baby boy! I’m so grateful for
Tamie’s treatments and I’m sure we would not have had a healthy pregnancy without her. Thank you Tamie!!

I went to Tamie for relief from menopausal symptoms and sinus headaches/ allergies. With the menopausal symptoms, my
primary care doctor recommended I try very low dose estrogen. The hormones made me feel agitated and out of balance. Plus, I
did not want to take hormones forever. Tamie brought me relief and balance with her relaxing, yet invigorating treatment. As the
allergies and sinus stuff, I was taking all sorts of over-the-counter medicines. Now, I can go for long periods without any of the

Infertility: I am 40 years old and recently married, my husband and I knew it would be a long road to get pregnant. After finding a
large mass on my ovary in 2003, I had extensive abdominal surgery to remove the mass. I was told by my doctor that I not only
had Stage IV endometriosis but that it was the worst case she had ever seen. So, we started our fertility testing wondering what
would be found and according to the tests my husband and I were both very healthy. The fertility doctor could only point to the
endometriosis as the cause of my infertility. Our only option was IVF. The doctor told us we only had a 25% chance of success
with each IVF cycle. We accepted the odds and started right away. We had two unsuccessful IVF cycles in the spring and
summer 2009 and were running out of insurance money. We decided to do one last cycle of IVF and do everything we could to
make it successful. I quit my stressful job and also turned to Tamie for assistance. I visited Tamie every week for 6 weeks prior
to beginning the third IVF cycle. I visited her before egg transfer and before and after embryo transfer. In October 2009, I found out
that I’m pregnant…not only with one baby but with two! TWINS! I NEVER thought it would be possible for me to get pregnant and
here I am blessed with two babies inside me!
For those women who think it is too late for them or that their case is too bleak and dim, I hope that you read my story and find the
courage to get treatments with Tamie and continue your journey. I am living proof that no matter how slim the chance, miracles do
happen!

During a particularly stressful time at school, I developed a TMJ click in the left side of my jaw. I went to see my dentist, but at the
time I wasn’t experiencing much pain so he said there was nothing he could do and to keep in touch. A week or so after that, my
jaw started to ache even when I wasn’t moving it at all. It caused me severe headaches that made it difficult to study. I was away at
school at the time, so I emailed my dentist about the sharp increase of pain and he consulted with an oral surgeon who
emailed me back. Basically, they both told me, there was nothing they could do. All they said was take Advil and don’t eat chewy
foods, but the Advil didn’t help at all with the pain. I thought I was going to be stuck with it forever. It even hurt when I smiled and
laughed. About a month later, I met a girl at school who was very interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine and who
recommended Tamie to me. At first I was nervous – I’m terrified of needles. But I decided it was worth it to try to make the pain go
away. After two treatments with Tamie I have no more headaches and no jaw pain. It was amazing, like a miracle! After hearing
that nothing could be done, going through two simple and definitely painless treatments, and the pain is gone.

Infertility: My husband and I had been trying to start a family for over a year and were concerned because I was almost 35. I
had been charting my temperature for about 6 months so we had some testing done which revealed that my FSH level was 8.9.
We decided to try on our own for a few more months. Acupuncture seemed like a way to be proactive and to get my body back in
balance. After the first treatment, I felt more relaxed and optimistic. During the next few weeks, there was a lot of stress with my
family and work. I was sure that we would have better luck next month...but I was wrong. After 3 acupuncture treatments, I am

Infertility: have wanted children for many years, but having endometriosis caused my tubes to completely block. I was told after
testing and procedures that IVF was my only option. My first IVF cycle failed and I was so sad. I started researching acupuncture
and learned that the success rate was higher for IVF if acupuncture was included. Desperate, I was willing to try anything. I
started acupuncture before the next IVF cycle started, and continued it throughout the entire cycle. I ended up transferring two
embryos on day 2 which doesn't happen often. I thought my chances of becoming pregnant were even lower now that they were
transferring on day 2, not to mention that it was Thanksgiving 2009 and I did not think I would be able to receive acupuncture since
it was a holiday. But I was wrong. Tamie graciously took me on and I received both pre- and post-transfer acupuncture, which I
was truly thankful for. I truly believe that the acupuncture made the difference for us. My husband and I are now blessed with the

I am 49 years old and have been suffering from severe chronic knee & back pain for many years. I have had two surgical
procedures on my knee and after seeking a 3rd opinion my newest surgeon was recommending partial knee replacement, which
I considered to be a last resort. A very good friend suggested I try Acupuncture with Tamie, as she is providing great help with
some serious health issues. I was reluctant because I have a phobia of needles and did not really understand the Acupuncture
theory or process. I have had 4 treatments with Tamie and the results have been PHENOMINAL. I was amazed, there was no
pain during the treatment and after the second treatment I was having significantly less pain in both my knee and back.
I believe Tamie’s treatments have been so successful primarily because she is a highly skilled practitioner of Acupuncture – but

I have had chronic back pain since I pulled the muscles in the right side of my back in 1964. For many years, I saw a chiropractor
and took medications to help alleviate the pain. Before Tamie, I had never tried acupuncture. But a friend told me that Tamie's
style of acupuncture was very gentle and that she was very good. I thought I would try it once because it would be nice to avoid
taking another medication. I can no longer drive, so Tamie comes to my home to treat me. I am very thankful that she comes to
see me. Every couple of months or so, I call and ask Tamie to ask "do your magic for me again." Why do I say magic? Because
Tamie puts needles in my left hand and leg, though the pain is on the right side of my body. She has never needled the area
where I feel pain, but after 30 minutes of needling the other side, she touches the painful spot, and I barely feel it. Tamie has tried
to explain to me many times how acupuncture works, but I still cannot understand it. But I don't care whether I can understand it
because it keeps me pain free for a few months. I am 100 years old. What else could I ask for?

I have been seeing Tamie since Sept 2008 for treatment of my infertility diagnosis. I was initially nervous about getting
acupuncture but after going over things with her during my first appointment, I felt very much at ease and I now look forward to
seeing her every week. She is very knowledgeable about what she does and is very pleasant to deal with. She goes above and
beyond her call of duty and I feel very comfortable getting my treatments from her. Tamie genuinely cares about her patients and
works very hard to bring them relief from their ailment. Since receiving acupuncture treatment, I have noticed changes in my FSH
levels and AFC count. I don’t fully understand what has contributed to the better results…maybe its being relaxed, maybe
acupuncture helped, or maybe it’s a combination of both. Whatever the reasons, I am thrilled to see an improvement in my case.
Another thing that I noticed is my BBT chart looks very “normal” after receiving acupuncture treatments. Meaning, over time, the
chart looks very smooth and the major fluctuations in temperature are less obvious. I feel that Tamie really cares about her
patients and I can personally say that she makes available for her patients. I have a very hectic schedule and I was relieved to find
someone who can fit my busy schedule into hers. After a stressful day at work, I look forward to my weekly treatments.

Infertility: After a failed cycle of IVF my husband and I turned to Tamie to seek for an alternative method for conceiving our second
child. We were determined not to let our dream sink and Tamie helped us through out the way. We started a second IVF cylcle
combined with acupuncture and were devastated to find out it had failed as well. Tamie gave us strength and started seeking in
books and herbs every single way to make our dream come true. We followed Tamies instructions, started our herbal medicine
and went to acupuncture sessions every week. Our third IVF cycle was a total success and we are now expecting a little girl!!! We

Every winter I have had a problem with dry skin on my arms and legs that has gotten progressively worse as I’ve gotten older.
This past fall it began as usual, but quickly became so bad that my entire trunk was also involved. In November my dermatologist
diagnosed “atopic dermatitis” and prescribed a cortisone cream for the worst-affected areas. But I was constantly
uncomfortable, to the point that I was losing a lot of sleep and becoming generally very run down. Tamie had been treating
me as usual, but wanted to wait until hearing what the dermatologist said to do anything specifically targeting my skin condition. At
my first acupuncture session after the diagnosis, Tamie made up a special herbal formula for me to take during the next week.
TWO DAYS LATER my skin began to clear, and by the time I saw Tamie the following week I couldn’t wait to show her the
improvement; I actually wanted her to confirm the healing because I almost couldn’t believe it myself. The skin on my arms, legs,
back and stomach was soft, smooth, and as clear as when I was a teenager. And what is best is that from that one week of
herbal formula my skin remained clear all through the rest of the winter without any recurrence of the dermatitis. It still amazes
me.

After two years of trying to start a family with no success, my husband and I started seeing a reproductive specialist in late March
2009. After months of tests, we were placed in the category of "unexplained infertility" and advised to move straight to IVF (invitro
fertilization). Immediately I was anxious and on edge, being very uncomfortable with no "root cause" for the infertility and what
seemed to me a very drastic step of jumping to the most invasive and expensive fertility treatment. I was fortunate to have a
colleague advise me to seek acupuncture to augment my IVF cycles - he claimed his wife had the best outcomes both physical
(egg quantity, egg quality, and great hormone levels) and emotional with acupuncture. After discussion with my husband, we
determined there was not point in moving forward with IVF, until I was emotionally ready. In May 2009, I came across Tamie's
brochure in the fertility clinic lobby. I called Tamie and met with her only a few short days later. Tamie reviewed with me not only
my concerns and experiences with infertility, but also did a thorough review of medical history. After my very first treatment I felt
super relaxed. With each passing week, I became calmer and noticed I was sleeping better and feeling more "connected". At the
end of June 2009, I had my first IVF cycle, along with Tamie's continued acupuncture treatments. I was calm and positive through
the whole experience, including the dreaded "two week wait". Unfortunately, this cycle resulted in a "chemical pregnancy".
Although this was disappointing result, there are many positives, in that we were able to retrieve high quality embryos and we did
achieve implantation. The most important aspect, thanks to Tamie, is I was able to handle his experience with extreme calm
and am extremely optimistic that we will achieve our goal. As an aside, I had a family member mention to me a few weeks ago
that my hair appeared thicker and after looking in the mirror, I realized I was no longer looking through to my scalp! After
consultation with Tamie, she confirmed the treatments for my infertility were focused on my kidneys and this too governed scalp
hair. My hairdresser was beyond ecstatic as she scanned through my scalp and noted all the "new growth". I sought out
Tamie to start a family, and in turn I've found a compassionate, caring and talented healer. When was the last time your doctor

After suffering from a sinus infection that lasted for seven months, I would have shaved my head if you said I would feel better. A

When I started with Tamie, I was pretty much ready for a microscopic discectomy. I had a large herniated disc (L5). I was in
so much pain all the time. All the Advil and pain relievers in the world could not help me. Even doing regular activity was difficult.
I would stand to feed my son and could not sit to eat dinner with my family. I would drive and then when I would get out of the car,
my leg would actually just collapse and I would be on the ground. I felt so helpless and sad. I made the decision to take a leave

I started seeing Tamie in July of 2006. My three invitro had failed. I had a miscarriage twins at 23 weeks. I also had another

I came to Tamie with severe digestive problems and chronic infections. After years of trying all sorts of alternative treatments,

Infertility: My husband and I had been going through over a year of different infertility treatments due to PCOS, including IVF,

My husband and I first met Tamie when she was still a student at the New England School of Acupuncture. We received eleven

I have been receiving treatments from Tamie for about nine months-the duration of my pregnancy. I suffer from a sore shoulder

Life enhancing treatment!
Every time I've been to "Spa Tamie" I come away amazed at how much better I feel. Tamie has helped me with such things as

comfortable in my body. She often sends me home with herbal remedies for speeding up my recovery, too, and always takes the

I came to Tamie for treatment of gum tissue which had been inflamed for over a year as a result of some dental work. The
dentist was now recommending that I consider root canal as well as gum surgery to alleviate the problem. I had two sessions
with Tamie. Two days after the second session the gum was significantly less red and puffy. Nerve pain associated with the
inflamed gum had also dissipated. It is now 5 months since this treatment. I am without pain and the reduction in the swelling of

About two years ago, I started having very severe pain in my shoulder. I had weekly massage treatments which temporarily
relieved the pain, but after a few days, the pain would come back. Last summer, I moved to Boston from NY, and I had to find a
new massage therapist. I tried a couple different therapists, and then I found Tamie. At first, I was only going to get a massage
treatment, not acupuncture. I was not ready for an acupuncture treatment since I had never had it in my life and was afraid of
needles going into my body. But I remembered that my Japanese friend started an acupuncture treatment for her back pain and
told me that it worked very well to relieve her pain. So I consulted with Tamie and decided to try the acupuncture treatment. The
needles that she used were very thin and delicate; I was surprised to learn that there was no pain. Tamie was able to pin-point
the precise area where the pain was located, also she could place the needles exactly where they needed to go. In the past I had

Infertility: I could not conceive for almost three years. I was 37 years old and almost gave up on trying to become a mother. I had
sought out acupuncture treatments because of intense pain in my right shoulder blade last Spring. I had seen a number of
specialists, applied a number of steroid creams, and taken oral medications, but the medications made my symptoms worse. At
my very first acupuncture treatment, Tamie pointed out that my shoulder pain was not a muscular problem; it was resulting from
a hormonal imbalance. I did not tell her that I wanted to get pregnant because I simply did not know that acupuncture could also
treat infertility. After two months of weekly acupuncture treatments, my shoulder pain disappeared and I found myself PREGNANT.
When I saw that the pregnancy test was positive, I called Tamie first. I was so excited. I could not believe it. I received regular
acupuncture treatments during the entire pregnancy. My morning sickness was very minimal. I gave a birth to a baby girl last

I have had the good fortune to receive acupuncture therapy from Tamie Bilazzo for over three years. The results have been so
effective I have begun to refer to the process simply as "Tamie Treatments". During my lifetime I have been blessed with excellent
health. There are times however, that even the best genes and diet cannot prevent the life stresses and general fatigue from
causing me to feel rundown. I depend on Tamie's excellent skills and training to aid me in a variety of situations. During times of

"I did not know a lot about acupuncture before I had my first treatment with Tamie. I’d had some friends who had tried it and liked
it but I was more than a little skeptical. In the spring of 2004, I was suffering from a pain in my hip that was ultimately diagnosed
as bursitis. I tried to keep up my regular activities but found that after an exercise class or a day of skiing I suffered for days.
Sitting was uncomfortable, as was standing for any length of time. I sought traditional treatment with a great sports medicine
doctor. She explained that my injury was an overuse injury and that it was likely to flare its ugly head at times. The doctor gave
me a shot of cortisone, which helped for a couple of days but didn’t cure the problem. After months of icing, heat, and
prescription and OTC anti-inflammatory medications, I was pretty frustrated. I knew it was not an option to have a cortisone shot
every week.
Tamie and I are neighbors. One day she saw me limping down my driveway to bring out my trash. She inquired about my
problem and she suggested acupuncture might help. I was at the point where I just wanted some relief so I decided to give it a
try. I was worried that the needles would hurt and was unsure how this treatment could help. I put my fear and skepticism aside
and gave Tamie and her treatment a try. After the first session I noticed an improvement. It wasn’t a cure all but I definitely felt
better. I went back for another treatment. I would say after four treatments I felt fully recovered. The added bonus was that the
treatments seemed to improve my sleep and relax me both during and after the treatments. My problem has flared up a couple of
times since my first treatments. When that happens, I simply head back to Tamie and she treats the problem.
The thing I like best about acupuncture is that you feel the results right away and, for me at least, there were no uncomfortable

"I started seeing Tamie to find relief from a very severe and very unpredictable menstrual-related pain. The pain was so intense
that when it occurred, I would usually end up lying on the floor (wherever I happened to be at the time), battling severe nausea,

I started seeing Tamie at the same time when I began my infertility treatment in March 2008. I got pregnant in my second IVF but
the reaction from IVF medication was overwhelming. I was hospitalized for a couple of times due to the tremendous side effects of
the medications and the invasive procedures. Eventually I had a miscarriage on week 16. Tamie helped me throughout the IVF
process, recovery from the miscarriage and giving me her own herbal formula (not the premade one, but boiled the herbs from

Nothing short of a miracle!
About 4 months ago, I was diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis/impingement syndrome ("frozen shoulder") and I could hardly
move my right arm. I was having a hard time sleeping at night because of the pain, and my surgeon suggested that I should start
physical therapy. My prognosis, without surgery was of a very slow recovery, with a time frame of about 2 years. After 2 months of
intensive therapy I was sent for an MRI and it became clear that I had a partial rotator cuff tear. Surgery aside, I decided to
continue physical therapy, which by then had helped me a little. After three cortisone shots later, my doctor suggested me to try
acupuncture to speed up the recovery process. I had never had acupuncture before in my life, so I did not know what to expect. A
friend referred me to Tamie and when I called her describing my ailment, Tamie sounded very excited, and I later found out that
she had also suffered from frozen shoulder in the past. During my first visit, she evaluated my range of motion, then had me lay
down on the bed and applied her magic needles in my legs, arms, neck and shoulder. 45 minutes in the session she came back
and asked me to sit up and try the same movements again. I went from 90 degrees to 180 degrees of rotation - I could hardly
believe my eyes! The improvement in just one session was unbelievable - beyond my wildest expectations. I immediately made a
second appointment for the following week. Back home, my skeptical husband was waiting for my return, and when he asked me
how the session went, I said nothing, just raised my arm, extending it fully over my head. I think that simple demonstration turned

I have had severe tendonitis in my elbows for two years, and a great deal of resulting muscle pain and inflammation in my
forearms. When I first went to see Tamie, the pain was so debilitating I could not use a pen, drive a car, type or hold a shampoo
bottle without pain. Although I had received treatment from several other healthcare professionals, no one had related the injury
to the weakness and tightness in my shoulders, neck, back and biceps. They treated my pain locally, and the pain and
inflammation kept returning. When I think of the care Tamie took in treating me I am absolutely overcome with thankfulness.
Each treatment session was unique, thoughtful, careful and unrushed. She diligently researched the various muscle groups

I HAVE MY LIFE BACK
Shortly after the birth of my third child I began experiencing left sided migraines. Over the course of five years the migraines
gained in intensity and duration lasting up to three days. I would lie down for hours at a time taking narcotics and placing ice
packs on my head hoping the migraine would pass. I was literally punching myself in the head to feel a different kind of pain. I
would lose significant amounts of sleep during these periods and typically I entered a migraine zone twice a month losing
precious time with my children and husband. I missed so many family/friend events due to migraines and feeling ill. Tamie has

God's Gift
Several months ago, I had severe lower back pain. I was completely confined to bed and the pain was excruciating. MRI report
revealed disc problems and arthritis as well. Doctors wanted to perform an operation which was very risky at best. It was a divine
gift that we got led to Tamie. As I was unable to stand or walk, she came for house visits and within 2 weeks I was able to stand,

I had a car accident one rainy night. I did not have any pain at the time of the accident, but two days later, I suddenly felt as if the
ceiling was spinning. I was very scared, and my blood pressure went up to 150/110. I also started to have chest pain, and I ended
up in the emergency room. After a few long hours, the doctor gave me one medication, told me that it might take four months to
feel better, and advised me not to move fast. After taking the medication, I felt better temporarily, but the spinning spell came back
two hours later. The next day, I went to see my primary care physician. He prescribed the exact same medication and told me the
same thing the emergency doctor had told me. I could not wait four months to get better, especially since the medication was only
working for two hours at a time. I went to see a chiropractor the next day. I visited him for five days straight, but again the dizzy spell
came back. He told me I'd need to see him for two months. At that point, my wife suggested that I see her acupuncturist, Tamie.
After the very first treatment, I felt so good. Tamie asked me to get up and down from the bed and move around to see whether
vertigo would come back or not. It did not come back. It did not come back two hours later. I received two more once a week
treatments for minor headache on the back of my head due to the accident. And now I feel 100% back to normal: no dizziness, no
headache, no high blood pressure, no chest pain -- all without taking any medications.

I began seeing Tamie in October 2009 after surgery to remove scar tissue near my fallopian tube. I had painful PMS the next
month, a sinus infection, and then began having severe insomnia. It was if a switch had been turned on in my body and stayed
on. I was not able to sleep at all. I tried every strategy possible to make myself physically and mentally tired but to no avail. I tried
several prescription medications but they made me feel awful the next day. Tamie was so attentive in treating my severe

Originally, I went to see Tamie because of a sudden outbreak of hives on my thigh. After Tamie treated me for the hives and they
disappeared (as if they had never been there), I mentioned to her that I was having difficulty conceiving a baby. Tamie then started
to treat me for infertility once a week. She explained, based on Oriental Medicine, why I was not getting pregnant. For example, I
learned that my body temperature is lower than normal, and that the coldness of my fingers and toes is part of the same issue.

Just over two years ago, my (then) 15 year old daughter, Rebecca, woke up sick: bad headache, fever, lack of energy. We thought
it was the flu, but two weeks later, with no let-up of the symptoms, then our doctors visits began. Four months and many tests
later, we were given a diagnosis of "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". We started looking for ways to work with this disease, and
were fortunate to have a friend recommended Tamie. My daughter was initially reluctant to try acupuncture, as in "Nobody is going
to stick a needle in me !" But Tamie skillfully and patiently explained the process, and Rebecca agreed to give it a try. Right from

Infertility: Shortly after I turned 34, my husband and I decided to start a family. Within a few months, I was delighted to see a
positive pregnancy test, and assumed I was one of the “lucky” women who gets pregnant quickly and has an easy pregnancy.
Unfortunately, 12 weeks into the pregnancy I miscarried. After nearly a year of unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant again, I found
myself depressed and losing hope. We made an appointment to see a fertility doctor, and days before our first appointment, I
was thrilled to get my second positive pregnancy test! However, at only 6 weeks, we learned the pregnancy wasn’t viable. After
months of tests and visits to the fertility clinic, I was eventually diagnosed with Poor Ovarian Reserve. While we were encouraged
to keep trying naturally, we were told that our best chance of getting pregnant was through an egg donor. I was just short of my
36th birthday and I was completely devastated by the news. I cried for days as my husband and I considered our options and tried
to make sense of the diagnosis. The next week, I called Tamie. I had never tried acupuncture, but I had heard that many women
with infertility obstacles had found hope in the treatments. After just two visits with Tamie, I was pregnant again. I continue to see

Infertility: I am 40 years old and recently married, my husband and I knew it would be a long road to get pregnant. After finding a
large mass on my ovary in 2003, I had extensive abdominal surgery to remove the mass. I was told by my doctor that I not only
had Stage IV endometriosis but that it was the worst case she had ever seen. So, we started our fertility testing wondering what
would be found and according to the tests my husband and I were both very healthy. The fertility doctor could only point to the
endometriosis as the cause of my infertility. Our only option was IVF. The doctor told us we only had a 25% chance of success
with each IVF cycle. We accepted the odds and started right away. We had two unsuccessful IVF cycles in the spring and
summer 2009 and were running out of insurance money. We decided to do one last cycle of IVF and do everything we could to
make it successful. I quit my stressful job and also turned to Tamie for assistance. I visited Tamie every week for 6 weeks prior
to beginning the third IVF cycle. I visited her before egg transfer and before and after embryo transfer. In October 2009, I found out
that I’m pregnant…not only with one baby but with two! TWINS! I NEVER thought it would be possible for me to get pregnant and
here I am blessed with two babies inside me!
For those women who think it is too late for them or that their case is too bleak and dim, I hope that you read my story and find the

During a particularly stressful time at school, I developed a TMJ click in the left side of my jaw. I went to see my dentist, but at the
time I wasn’t experiencing much pain so he said there was nothing he could do and to keep in touch. A week or so after that, my
jaw started to ache even when I wasn’t moving it at all. It caused me severe headaches that made it difficult to study. I was away at
school at the time, so I emailed my dentist about the sharp increase of pain and he consulted with an oral surgeon who
emailed me back. Basically, they both told me, there was nothing they could do. All they said was take Advil and don’t eat chewy
foods, but the Advil didn’t help at all with the pain. I thought I was going to be stuck with it forever. It even hurt when I smiled and
laughed. About a month later, I met a girl at school who was very interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine and who
recommended Tamie to me. At first I was nervous – I’m terrified of needles. But I decided it was worth it to try to make the pain go
away. After two treatments with Tamie I have no more headaches and no jaw pain. It was amazing, like a miracle! After hearing
that nothing could be done, going through two simple and definitely painless treatments, and the pain is gone.

Infertility: My husband and I had been trying to start a family for over a year and were concerned because I was almost 35. I
had been charting my temperature for about 6 months so we had some testing done which revealed that my FSH level was 8.9.

Infertility: have wanted children for many years, but having endometriosis caused my tubes to completely block. I was told after
testing and procedures that IVF was my only option. My first IVF cycle failed and I was so sad. I started researching acupuncture
and learned that the success rate was higher for IVF if acupuncture was included. Desperate, I was willing to try anything. I
started acupuncture before the next IVF cycle started, and continued it throughout the entire cycle. I ended up transferring two
embryos on day 2 which doesn't happen often. I thought my chances of becoming pregnant were even lower now that they were
transferring on day 2, not to mention that it was Thanksgiving 2009 and I did not think I would be able to receive acupuncture since
it was a holiday. But I was wrong. Tamie graciously took me on and I received both pre- and post-transfer acupuncture, which I

I am 49 years old and have been suffering from severe chronic knee & back pain for many years. I have had two surgical

I have had chronic back pain since I pulled the muscles in the right side of my back in 1964. For many years, I saw a chiropractor
and took medications to help alleviate the pain. Before Tamie, I had never tried acupuncture. But a friend told me that Tamie's
style of acupuncture was very gentle and that she was very good. I thought I would try it once because it would be nice to avoid
taking another medication. I can no longer drive, so Tamie comes to my home to treat me. I am very thankful that she comes to
see me. Every couple of months or so, I call and ask Tamie to ask "do your magic for me again." Why do I say magic? Because
Tamie puts needles in my left hand and leg, though the pain is on the right side of my body. She has never needled the area

beyond her call of duty and I feel very comfortable getting my treatments from her. Tamie genuinely cares about her patients and
works very hard to bring them relief from their ailment. Since receiving acupuncture treatment, I have noticed changes in my FSH
levels and AFC count. I don’t fully understand what has contributed to the better results…maybe its being relaxed, maybe
acupuncture helped, or maybe it’s a combination of both. Whatever the reasons, I am thrilled to see an improvement in my case.
Another thing that I noticed is my BBT chart looks very “normal” after receiving acupuncture treatments. Meaning, over time, the
chart looks very smooth and the major fluctuations in temperature are less obvious. I feel that Tamie really cares about her
patients and I can personally say that she makes available for her patients. I have a very hectic schedule and I was relieved to find

Every winter I have had a problem with dry skin on my arms and legs that has gotten progressively worse as I’ve gotten older.
This past fall it began as usual, but quickly became so bad that my entire trunk was also involved. In November my dermatologist
diagnosed “atopic dermatitis” and prescribed a cortisone cream for the worst-affected areas. But I was constantly
uncomfortable, to the point that I was losing a lot of sleep and becoming generally very run down. Tamie had been treating
me as usual, but wanted to wait until hearing what the dermatologist said to do anything specifically targeting my skin condition. At
my first acupuncture session after the diagnosis, Tamie made up a special herbal formula for me to take during the next week.
TWO DAYS LATER my skin began to clear, and by the time I saw Tamie the following week I couldn’t wait to show her the
improvement; I actually wanted her to confirm the healing because I almost couldn’t believe it myself. The skin on my arms, legs,
back and stomach was soft, smooth, and as clear as when I was a teenager. And what is best is that from that one week of

After two years of trying to start a family with no success, my husband and I started seeing a reproductive specialist in late March
2009. After months of tests, we were placed in the category of "unexplained infertility" and advised to move straight to IVF (invitro
fertilization). Immediately I was anxious and on edge, being very uncomfortable with no "root cause" for the infertility and what
seemed to me a very drastic step of jumping to the most invasive and expensive fertility treatment. I was fortunate to have a
colleague advise me to seek acupuncture to augment my IVF cycles - he claimed his wife had the best outcomes both physical
(egg quantity, egg quality, and great hormone levels) and emotional with acupuncture. After discussion with my husband, we
determined there was not point in moving forward with IVF, until I was emotionally ready. In May 2009, I came across Tamie's
brochure in the fertility clinic lobby. I called Tamie and met with her only a few short days later. Tamie reviewed with me not only
my concerns and experiences with infertility, but also did a thorough review of medical history. After my very first treatment I felt
super relaxed. With each passing week, I became calmer and noticed I was sleeping better and feeling more "connected". At the
end of June 2009, I had my first IVF cycle, along with Tamie's continued acupuncture treatments. I was calm and positive through
the whole experience, including the dreaded "two week wait". Unfortunately, this cycle resulted in a "chemical pregnancy".
Although this was disappointing result, there are many positives, in that we were able to retrieve high quality embryos and we did
achieve implantation. The most important aspect, thanks to Tamie, is I was able to handle his experience with extreme calm
and am extremely optimistic that we will achieve our goal. As an aside, I had a family member mention to me a few weeks ago
that my hair appeared thicker and after looking in the mirror, I realized I was no longer looking through to my scalp! After
consultation with Tamie, she confirmed the treatments for my infertility were focused on my kidneys and this too governed scalp
hair. My hairdresser was beyond ecstatic as she scanned through my scalp and noted all the "new growth". I sought out

After suffering from a sinus infection that lasted for seven months, I would have shaved my head if you said I would feel better. A

When I started with Tamie, I was pretty much ready for a microscopic discectomy. I had a large herniated disc (L5). I was in
so much pain all the time. All the Advil and pain relievers in the world could not help me. Even doing regular activity was difficult.
I would stand to feed my son and could not sit to eat dinner with my family. I would drive and then when I would get out of the car,
my leg would actually just collapse and I would be on the ground. I felt so helpless and sad. I made the decision to take a leave

I started seeing Tamie in July of 2006. My three invitro had failed. I had a miscarriage twins at 23 weeks. I also had another

I came to Tamie with severe digestive problems and chronic infections. After years of trying all sorts of alternative treatments,

Infertility: My husband and I had been going through over a year of different infertility treatments due to PCOS, including IVF,

My husband and I first met Tamie when she was still a student at the New England School of Acupuncture. We received eleven
sessions of treatment; but after only the first few we experienced significant relief from the pain of arthritis. An additional benefit

I have been receiving treatments from Tamie for about nine months-the duration of my pregnancy. I suffer from a sore shoulder

Life enhancing treatment!
Every time I've been to "Spa Tamie" I come away amazed at how much better I feel. Tamie has helped me with such things as

I came to Tamie for treatment of gum tissue which had been inflamed for over a year as a result of some dental work. The
dentist was now recommending that I consider root canal as well as gum surgery to alleviate the problem. I had two sessions
with Tamie. Two days after the second session the gum was significantly less red and puffy. Nerve pain associated with the
inflamed gum had also dissipated. It is now 5 months since this treatment. I am without pain and the reduction in the swelling of

About two years ago, I started having very severe pain in my shoulder. I had weekly massage treatments which temporarily
relieved the pain, but after a few days, the pain would come back. Last summer, I moved to Boston from NY, and I had to find a
new massage therapist. I tried a couple different therapists, and then I found Tamie. At first, I was only going to get a massage
treatment, not acupuncture. I was not ready for an acupuncture treatment since I had never had it in my life and was afraid of

specialists, applied a number of steroid creams, and taken oral medications, but the medications made my symptoms worse. At
my very first acupuncture treatment, Tamie pointed out that my shoulder pain was not a muscular problem; it was resulting from
a hormonal imbalance. I did not tell her that I wanted to get pregnant because I simply did not know that acupuncture could also
treat infertility. After two months of weekly acupuncture treatments, my shoulder pain disappeared and I found myself PREGNANT.
When I saw that the pregnancy test was positive, I called Tamie first. I was so excited. I could not believe it. I received regular
acupuncture treatments during the entire pregnancy. My morning sickness was very minimal. I gave a birth to a baby girl last
month (Jan. '07). – baby picture. Just after I became pregnant last Spring, I referred a friend who had not been able to conceive

I have had the good fortune to receive acupuncture therapy from Tamie Bilazzo for over three years. The results have been so
effective I have begun to refer to the process simply as "Tamie Treatments". During my lifetime I have been blessed with excellent
health. There are times however, that even the best genes and diet cannot prevent the life stresses and general fatigue from
causing me to feel rundown. I depend on Tamie's excellent skills and training to aid me in a variety of situations. During times of
insomnia, I call Tamie. When I am stressed and overworked, I book an appointment with Tamie. When I am fatigued and
experience an increase in my tinnitus symptoms (ringing in ears), I call Tamie and schedule a treatment.

"I did not know a lot about acupuncture before I had my first treatment with Tamie. I’d had some friends who had tried it and liked
it but I was more than a little skeptical. In the spring of 2004, I was suffering from a pain in my hip that was ultimately diagnosed
as bursitis. I tried to keep up my regular activities but found that after an exercise class or a day of skiing I suffered for days.
Sitting was uncomfortable, as was standing for any length of time. I sought traditional treatment with a great sports medicine
doctor. She explained that my injury was an overuse injury and that it was likely to flare its ugly head at times. The doctor gave
me a shot of cortisone, which helped for a couple of days but didn’t cure the problem. After months of icing, heat, and
prescription and OTC anti-inflammatory medications, I was pretty frustrated. I knew it was not an option to have a cortisone shot
every week.
Tamie and I are neighbors. One day she saw me limping down my driveway to bring out my trash. She inquired about my
problem and she suggested acupuncture might help. I was at the point where I just wanted some relief so I decided to give it a
try. I was worried that the needles would hurt and was unsure how this treatment could help. I put my fear and skepticism aside
and gave Tamie and her treatment a try. After the first session I noticed an improvement. It wasn’t a cure all but I definitely felt
better. I went back for another treatment. I would say after four treatments I felt fully recovered. The added bonus was that the
treatments seemed to improve my sleep and relax me both during and after the treatments. My problem has flared up a couple of
times since my first treatments. When that happens, I simply head back to Tamie and she treats the problem.
The thing I like best about acupuncture is that you feel the results right away and, for me at least, there were no uncomfortable
side effects. I am grateful that Tamie saw me suffering that spring day so she could introduce me to a form of treatment that I now
rely on to treat my injury. I highly recommend Tamie and her treatments."

My husband and I decided that we wanted to try to get pregnant. Because I had been on the birth control pill for 3 years, my period
was irregular and my cycle was very long. I had been seeing Tamie for various health issues and general wellness for the past 3

"I started seeing Tamie to find relief from a very severe and very unpredictable menstrual-related pain. The pain was so intense
that when it occurred, I would usually end up lying on the floor (wherever I happened to be at the time), battling severe nausea,
faintness, and intense sweating for about two hours. Then, the pain would disappear, and I wouldn't experience it again for
another month or six months or more. I'd asked several M.D.s about the pain, and they had alternately suggested that I might be
suffering from estrogen withdrawal, dehydration, endometriosis, and even appendicitis.
None of them could offer a solid diagnosis or a suggestion for treatment because I couldn't appear in the office at the exact time

I started having severe lower back pain 6 months ago. It got worse whenever I bent over. I could not stand for a couple of weeks,
so my husband took me to see an orthopedic doctor in a major hospital who prescribed physical therapy. I did it for one month, It

I started seeing Tamie at the same time when I began my infertility treatment in March 2008. I got pregnant in my second IVF but
the reaction from IVF medication was overwhelming. I was hospitalized for a couple of times due to the tremendous side effects of
the medications and the invasive procedures. Eventually I had a miscarriage on week 16. Tamie helped me throughout the IVF
process, recovery from the miscarriage and giving me her own herbal formula (not the premade one, but boiled the herbs from
stretch) as an above and beyond acupuncturist. After experiencing the unpredictable side effects from the IVF medications and a
heartbreaking miscarriage, my husband and I decided to go naturally and leave it all to the God. I continued seeing Tammie once
